We at RISERS are committed to this goal and have made fitness integral part to our life. RISERS is a formal group of sports loving, young, energetic and passionate individuals who are collectively trying to make a difference to the society by spreading awareness on health, wellness, fitness and integrating it with your daily goals tasks.

What started as a running regime, transformed into a passion and this passion enabled the group to not only run their first full marathon in foreign soil but also very successfully organized multiple events including a Minithon. Today RISERs has expanded to more than 100 sports enthusiasts committed towards fitness in multiple sports including Running, Cricket, Football, and Volleyball.

Members of RISERS successfully completed Ladakh Marathon 2016

The Ladakh Marathon is the highest and amongst the toughest marathons. Unlike other marathons, the Ladakh Marathon requires you to arrive in Leh atleast a week in advance to acclimatize for race day. You are running at 3500m above sea level so it is imperative that you get acclimatized to the high altitude.

  • To identify sporting talent at the grass-root level and provide enhanced resources.
  • To be the number one fitness enabler in India

Member or RISERS has participated in many running events at national and International level. Below are few recent events:

  • Jan 2015 – Mumbai SCMM Half Marathon (21 KMs)
  • Aug 2015 – Satara Hill Run (21 KMs)
  • Sep 2015 – Berlin Full Marathon (42 KMs)
  • Jan 2016 – Mumbai SCMM Half Marathon (21 KMs)
  • July 2016 – BNP Endutharon Hill Marathon (25 KMs)
  • July 2016 – RIR 10 K Challenge (10 KMs)
  • Sep 2016 – Ladakh Marathon 2016

Apart from above the runner’s team RISERS has been regularly participating in numerous 10 KMs marathons in and around Mumbai like Vasai-Virar Mayor’s Marathon, KYS Rainathon, Pinkathon etc.

  • Jan 2016 – Royal Diamonds Kutchi Minithon (4500+ Participants)
